[hold on a second…he’s getting mixed messages here. it might not be wise to trust a creepy looking human who is curious about his inner working and wants to take him to the kitchen.] “Whoa, whoa, whoa, HOLD UP, lady. I’ll be happy to cook dinner for ya’, but if you’re plannin’ on making me the dinner, then we’ll have some trouble. Just so ya’ know.”
Why would anyone want to eat a subject as interesting as this creature was? She was even being as polite as she could–in her own sort of way–and would keep any tools for dissection away from him. Besides, there didn’t seem to be a lot of meat in his frame. He’d make a nice broth, though. “There is no need for me to eat–it’s merely pleasantries if I ever decide to crave. Though I think the others would like to try your cooking.”
"You lost an eye?" This was something Mayuri was used to; his experiments often went through the the same. "Poor thing. Do you remember where you had it last?"
She should have seen it coming when her vision started to blur in the one eye. Instead, Fran believed she could make it back in one piece. Next she would have to check the sutures on her neck. “Somewhere around here. I bent over to pick up one of the tools I dropped and it popped out.”
“I’m the Grim Reaper.” And cue the dramatic flames rising from the ground. Nothing wrong with a bit of melodrama every now and again. And it does make him seem more impressive.
The Grim Reaper? Something of such a supernatural being shouldn’t have been visible to her own eyes. The girl blinked before reaching up, taking out one of her eyes and checking the optical nerves and dilation of the pupils to see if this was real. Nothing was wrong, however, so slipping it back into the socket, she blinked again and righted her vision. "The Grim Reaper? Is it a myth, then, that only the dead are able to see you before you take their souls to the underworld?“
“Well, there ain’t. So there.” Goodness, mortals are so annoying; questioning everything. Things would be much easier if they just ran away in fear upon seeing a walking skeleton.
“If there’s nothing of the like involved in this, then may I ask what you are?” There were many things that she had seen in her life, many things that she had created as well, but never something even close to this. Very peculiar, but also quite enthralling.
The professor? Actually, he's out of the house at the moment~

“I’m an undead, talkin’, magical skeleton. It’s all perfectly reasonable, If you’re from the underworld.”
“There has to be some sort of scientific component to it, though.”
Then again–Nos had been completely made of bugs and decomposing flesh. Over two thousand years old and holding himself together in ways that still boggled her mind.
“How are you even functioning? Are there tissues and muscle underneath the robe? You don’t have lips or a tongue yet you still make the appropriate sounds if you had them– This is almost as great of an anomaly as when I took care of ‘Nos.”
