The scientist gave her a large grin. "I could help with that, really. I deal with fixing organs all the time. Do you know exactly why they fall out?"
Sometimes-- around his laboratory ( and this was rare ) --Mayuri would fall apart. Limbs would become u n s t i t c h e d and fall right to the floor, and organs could spill all over. Often would he pop an experiment's eye out ( sometimes to eat it, sometimes to examine it ) so, he knew all about replacing things from the body.
It looks like this curious girl needed so repairing of her own!
“As do I, but this is a problem I just haven’t the time for most times or it slips my mind. It’s not as often of an occurrence as it may seem, though.” It wasn’t like the rest of her body fell apart, limbs coming off at random. Her head would be detached on her own accord, most times so she could think and solve certain formulas while her body worked with chemicals or other body parts. And every so often, she’d undo the stitching along her arm to get at an itch she couldn’t reach. And then there’s the addition of the other four arms whenever she was operating.
